i had an ideal stay with clean towels and friendly staff. The easy access to heaton park and hopwood woods made my city strolls unforgettable. while the hotel has a lot of potential, it needs a little love and affection in certain areas.

Our stay at Birch Hotel was really enjoyable! The room was spacious and clean, perfect for relaxing after a long day of biking. We appreciated the cozy tea and coffee making facilities, and the friendly staff ensured we felt welcome. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise, with plenty of delicious options to fuel our ride the next day.

Some areas could use a bit of updating.

Just a suitable option for a hurried visit in Heywood with incredible value for money. The breakfast was nice but could be improved. Make sure to confirm your room conditions before check-in.

The grounds were spacious and perfect for kids to run around. the room we got was clean and cozy, great for a solo traveler. The location was super easy to find, right near the motorway, which made our travels a breeze.

the staff were super friendly and helpful, breakfast choices were good and the room was comfy. had a nice quiet stay, and the cleaning was decent. i liked that i could take my breakfast back to my room. the hotel grounds were pretty with flowers and a fountain, and parking was easy to find.

Celebrating my anniversary here was a delight! The attentive staff surprised us with a candlelit dinner despite our late arrival. The room, cozy and clean, made for a perfect escape. Don’t miss the breakfast buffet – fresh and plentiful! A short drive brings you to pretty local scenes.

The twin room was clean and cozy, which was nice. the bed wasn't super comfy for sleeping. I heard a lot of noise from the corridor, especially with wedding guests around. The heating was pretty loud too. Breakfast could've been better for the price—it felt a bit lacking. it had its highs and lows.

Room layout lacked bedside tables and proper space!!! The bathroom could use an update, and a few maintenance issues were evident!!! Consider repositioning furniture for improved functionality!!!

Breakfast stands out with its generous portions and excellent execution. the full English offers grilled bacon that isn't greasy, a welcome surprise. The prints on the walls, commissioned for the hotel, add a unique artistic touch to the somewhat aged interior.

Facilities felt a bit neglected, with broken fixtures and dusty surfaces evident in the room. The restaurant's closure on a bank holiday was disappointing, leaving a lack of dining options when I was expecting to have a meal there. my room ended up being a twin instead of the double I booked, which threw me for a loop but was manageable.
